The blessing granted by forgiveness is the reunion with life.

As we close out 2017, what can we leave behind?

The Last Day of School in 2018

Yeah!  Finally on "vacation".  I still cook, clean, drive kids places but I can also sleep in, lunches are a more interesting, breakfast is more fun. Everything is dialed down.

I love when the kids are on break.  It is wonderful to be able to have a conversation at any time in the day--no rushing.  To take my beloved dog for long walks.  To ease into each day.  Reconnect.

16 days until Christmas.

I don't feel ready in so many ways.

This year I am slowing down.  The presents are slowly being purchased.  The cookies are coming along--a new batch every few days.  The tree is up and pretty without the ornaments.

Entrance exams, birthday parties, ACT exams, shopping, cleaning, art shows . . . school parties, cookie exchanges, volunteering galore.

In all of it I am a beacon of love.  Or at least I try.

Neutral Ground

When two worlds come together it is a beautiful moment.

I am the neutral ground.

Rings of Three

I enter every moment with love.

I see the light in everyone I meet.

I have purity, inner wisdom and subtle strength.

On Septemeber 22, 2016, I took this vow.  It is represented by three rings that I wear as a reminder to live up to my own expectations.  To serve others when it may not be exactly what I want to do, I do it anyway and try my best to be joyful--rarely is being joyful a problem. Why?

I fully understand that I am co-creating this life with the Divine.  I haven't always had such a deep knowing.  My thinking was that I would just live life to the fullest and sometimes it would work out and sometimes it wouldn't.  Random.

My friend Oprah always says, "when you know better, you do better." now, I can honestly say, I'm doing better.

My experience is that I'm only called to do one of these at a time.  That makes it so much more doable.

Back to the journey . . .
